The City of Frankfort, in partnership with an interdisciplinary design firm Sasaki, are initiating a riverfront development plan in 2026. Follow along on this page for updates and engagement opportunities.

Approval of Sasaki Contract

The City of Frankfort Board of Commissioners approves an agreement with Sasaki to develop a comprehensive Riverfront Development Strategic Plan. The plan will encompass the full stretch of riverfront from Capital View Park to Buffalo Trace Distillery.
